Sharekhan Automation

Sharekhan automation is custom software that trades your own Sharekhan account through the broker’s official API, using rules you set. Sharekhan is not one of the ten brokers in our ready-made Indian copiers. So this is custom development only, and we first check what the API allows for your account.

The software runs on your own PC or VPS, under your own credentials. We build the tool, and you operate it. AlgoDevelop is a software developer, not a SEBI-registered intermediary. So we give no signals or advice, and we never manage your funds.

What Sharekhan automation means

The software holds an API session to your own account and watches what you tell it to watch. Then it places the order once your condition holds. The order lands in your normal Sharekhan order book, and your money stays with the broker.

The trigger can be a Telegram call, a WhatsApp message, a TradingView alert or a rule inside the software. Either way, your limits run before any order goes out.

A requirement is often one plain sentence. For example: enter only in the first hour, stop for the day after three losses, or square off by 3:15.

Sharekhan automation: a signal or your own rule passes your limits and becomes an order through the Sharekhan Trading API
How it works: a signal or rule fires, your limits check it, and the order goes to Sharekhan from your own computer.

What the Sharekhan Trading API offers

Sharekhan now trades as Mirae Asset Sharekhan, and it runs a Trading API for its clients. Its page describes these features:

Its Trading API FAQ adds more detail. First, the API is open to all active Mirae Asset Sharekhan customers. After you generate access, you receive an API Key and a Secure Key. Intraday and delivery orders work now, while other order types depend on each segment.

The same pages say the API is free to use. Even so, they do not spell out every limit, such as how long a session lasts. So we check those details for your account before we quote.

Why it is custom work, not a ready-made copier

Our two ready-made Indian copiers work with ten brokers, and Sharekhan is not one of them. So Sharekhan automation means a custom build against the broker’s own API, for your account.

Do you also hold an account at Zerodha, Angel One, Groww, ICICI Direct or another supported broker? Then a ready-made tool can trade it today. See the Telegram to Indian broker copier and the TradingView to Indian broker copier, or browse every Indian broker we automate.

What we build for Sharekhan

A custom build follows your requirement, not a template. Here is what it can include:

Every build also carries the limits you choose. These include a daily order cap, a size ceiling and a cap on open positions. A trading window, a square-off time and a kill switch complete the set.

What we check before quoting

We never guess at an API. Before we quote Sharekhan automation, we confirm these points with you and against Sharekhan’s current docs:

If something you need is missing, we say so plainly before you pay anything. For a bridge to a broker API in general, see broker API bridge development.

What we check before quoting Sharekhan automation: API access, segments, login, static IP, rate limits and charges
The checklist we go through with you before any quote.

The static IP rule for Sharekhan automation

SEBI’s framework for retail algo trading has applied since 1 April 2026. Under it, a broker accepts API orders only from a static IP you have registered. So the software has to run where that address lives, which usually means a Windows VPS with a fixed IP.

The broker decides how you register that address. So we confirm the steps with you, before anything goes live.

How Sharekhan automation gets built

  1. Share your requirements. Send your strategy, your broker and your goals over WhatsApp or through the contact page.
  2. Check and quote. We check the API for your case, then reply with a fixed quote, usually within a few hours.
  3. Build and test. Next, we test it on demo or backtest and share progress as we go.
  4. You review it before anything goes live.
  5. Delivery and support. You get the finished tool with a setup walkthrough, and we help with any adjustments after delivery.

Where you stand

Trading your own Sharekhan account, with your own API access and rules, is you trading your own money. We do not run the software for you, we give no trading calls, and we promise no result. Trading carries a real risk of loss, and past results never guarantee future ones.

Running it for other people is a different matter, since India regulates that. You remain responsible for any registration or approval your use needs under SEBI and exchange rules. If you are unsure, take qualified advice first, or read is copy trading legal in India.

Sharekhan automation – frequently asked questions

Is Sharekhan in the ready-made copiers?

No. The ready-made Indian copiers work with ten other brokers. Sharekhan automation is custom work, built against the broker’s own API.

Does Sharekhan offer a trading API to its clients?

Yes. Mirae Asset Sharekhan runs a Trading API that its FAQ says is open to all active customers. You receive an API Key and a Secure Key once you generate access.

Do I need Sharekhan API access?

Yes. You use your own API keys and credentials. We build and hand over the software, and then you run it.

Can it place intraday and delivery orders?

Sharekhan’s FAQ says intraday and delivery orders work now, while other order types depend on the segment. We confirm what your account allows before quoting.

Why does Sharekhan automation need a static IP?

Since 1 April 2026, SEBI’s framework lets a broker accept API orders only from a static IP you have registered. So the software must run on a VPS or PC with a fixed address.

Do you provide signals or run it for me?

No. AlgoDevelop only develops the software to your specification. We give no trading signals or advice, and we do not operate your account; you do.

Do I own what you build?

Yes. You receive the full source and documentation, and it runs entirely on your own account and computer.

What about SEBI compliance?

You operate your own account through the broker’s official API. We provide software only, so you are responsible for your own compliance with SEBI and exchange rules. If you are unsure, consult a qualified professional.

How much does Sharekhan automation cost?

It depends on your strategy and on what the API allows. Tell us both and we will reply with a fixed quote: ask for a quote.
